By Nub News Reporter 3rd Jun 2026
Motorists in Richmond are being warned to expect delays on Petersham Road as Thames Water carries out emergency repairs to a water leak.
Richmond Council has announced today (Wednesday, 3 June) at 1.30pm, that Thames Water engineers are attending a leak outside 22 Petersham Road.
Traffic in the area is currently being managed using temporary two-way traffic signals while repair work takes place.
The works are expected to continue until Friday 5 June, although completion dates may be subject to change depending on conditions on site.
The emergency works come just weeks after a major burst water main on Richmond Hill caused widespread disruption, flooding and traffic delays across the town.
