Specsavers in Richmond has officially launched its new-look store, after a £250,000 investment to improve the layout, testing rooms and overall customer experience.

The store, located on King Street, marked its relaunch with an in-store party in December complete with balloons, sweet treats and a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the furry guests of honour: Guide Dogs.

The refurbishment involved a full rip-out of the existing layout to create a more modern and spacious environment.

The revamped store features a new office area and an improved customer floor layout, including dedicated zones for contact lens consultations and dispensing services.

The bright and spacious design has been carefully planned to create a more customer-focused experience, with an enhanced open layout for optimal browsing and additional desk space for customers with mobility issues.

Earlier this year, the store also invested in diagnostic equipment with the addition of an OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) machine, further enhancing the clinical services available to the local community. Whilst this upgrade is not part of the new refit, it reflects the team's ongoing commitment to delivering the highest standard of care by making new technology accessible to the community.

Priya Aggarwal, optometrist director of Specsavers Richmond, says: 'We are delighted to have invested into Richmond's High Street and we're so proud to finally reveal the results of all our planning and hard work.

'It represents our dedication to putting customers first, not just through providing excellent care, but by creating a welcoming and modern space that better meets their needs.

'It was a privilege to celebrate this milestone with the community, and it was lovely to see so many people popping in to support us.

'Customers will definitely notice a positive difference to their experience in store thanks to this investment and we're looking forward to continuing to serve the Richmond community.'
