As National Curry Week (6–12 October) gets underway, Namaste Village Twickenham is inviting diners to celebrate with a taste of its House Special curries.

To mark the nation's love affair with curry, the restaurant is showcasing three of its unique dishes:

  • Baingan Bharta – a rich and smoky roasted aubergine curry cooked with onions, tomatoes, and aromatic spices, offering a comforting, earthy depth.
  • Chick'n Achaari – a tangy, plant-based twist on a North Indian classic, featuring vegan "chicken" pieces simmered in a punchy pickled spice blend.
  • Paneer Angara – cubes of soft paneer tossed in a fiery, creamy sauce infused with roasted peppers and traditional masala for a bold burst of flavour.

Manager of Namaste Village Twickenham, Hemisha, said: "As the UK marks Curry Week, Namaste Village celebrates over a decade of serving authentic Indian flavours.

"From our beginnings in Norwich, we've grown to six new locations, including Twickenham, while staying true to our promise of quality and tradition.

"This year, we were honoured by TripAdvisor as one of the UK's top casual dining restaurants, a recognition given to fewer than 1% of eight million listings worldwide.

"We're proud to share our love of real Indian curries and look forward to welcoming guests to experience the warmth and authenticity that define Namaste Village."

The team are also gearing up for Diwali, the Festival of Lights, which runs from Thursday 16 to Monday 20 October, with a series of special menus and events planned throughout the celebrations.
