1. Guards at the Taj - Orange Tree Theatre
About: Agra, India, 1648. The sun rises on the final day of construction of the Taj Mahal, the most beautiful monument the world has ever seen. Imperial Guards and best friends Babur and Humayun must once again follow the Emperor's orders, and resist the temptation to steal a glimpse.
But as morning's first light touches the pure white domes, the urge is too strong, and Babur and Humayun are about to discover that beauty comes at a terrible price.
This is an audacious, funny and ever-surprising play about friendship, betrayal and power, directed by 2024's recipient of the JMK Award, Adam Karim.

2. Halloween Trick or Treat Trail - The Alligator's Mouth
About: Plans this weekend? Join the spooky Halloween trail supporting indie businesses in Richmond on Sat 26th!
It's the perfect half term (trick or) treat, and The Alligator's Mouth is excited to be taking part.

3. Diwali Special Unlimited Buffet - Namaste Village Twickenham
About: To mark Diwali this year, Namaste Village Twickenham is hosting a special unlimited buffet celebration.
The restaurant say: "As the vibrant lights of Diwali begin to twinkle, a sense of warmth and nostalgia fills the air, reminding us of home and the joyous memories woven into the fabric of this beautiful festival.

5. Paint & Sip - The Turk's Head
About: The Turks Head, Twickenham has teamed up with The Creative Station to host artistic and fun sessions for residents between now and December.
The first of these is a Paint & Sip session next month which welcomes artists and non artists to come down, grab a brush and a drink!
When: Thursday, 14 October at 7:30pm-9:30pm.

6. Rugby - The Turk's Head
About: Lots of Premiership Rugby action this week with Bristol Bears hosting Northampton Saints to kick things off on Friday, 25 October at 7:45.
On Saturday, 26 October at 3:05 Bath Rugby face Sale Sharks and later Saracens play Leicester Tigers at 5:30pm.
The action does not stop there as The Harlequins visit Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park on Sunday, 27 October at 3pm.
