1. Open Studio Rebecca Lacey - RuptureXIBIT

About: An opportunity to meet Rebecca and view her work in progress, spanning abstract painting, photography, poetry, and acting.

When: 30 August, 1pm - 6pm and 31 August, 1pm-6pm.

2. Young Bookmakers - The Alligator's Mouth

Children aged 5-9 will be making DIY books (credit: The Alligator's Mouth).

About: Join Mark for a creative bookmaking event! This is an event where families can have fun creating their own little DIY books together. Suggested ages 5-9 yrs.

Children will practice three different methods (choice of methods TBC but may include concertina books and paper bag books!)

There will be decorative materials at hand including card, stamps, stickers and more.

You can start filling your books with stories, lists or whatever you like and show-and-tell them at the end of the session.

All children will get to take their completed books home with them!

When: Friday, 29 August, 2:30pm – 3:30pm.

Where: The Alligator's Mouth, 2a Church Court, Richmond, TW9 1JL

Price: Each ticket covers one child plus accompanying adult(s) - all materials provided.

£3 of the £10 ticket price can be redeemed against any book purchased from The Alligator's Mouth on the day.

4. Women's Rugby World Cup 2025 - The Turk's Head

Head down to The Turk's Head this weekend for more action from the Women's Rugby World Cup (credit: Cesar Medina).

About: The Women's Rugby World Cup 2025 continues this weekend at the Turk's Head, with Canada facing Wales in Pool B on Saturday, 30 August at 12pm, followed by England against Samoa in Pool A at 5pm.

More Rugby contines on Sunday, 31 August at 12pm with Ireland vs Spain from Pool C.

When: 30-31 August.
