Young performers create magic at St George’s Day celebration
By Nub News Reporter 6th May 2026
Young dancers from Babyballet Twickenham, Richmond and Kingston took to the stage and joined the crowds at the Whitton St George's Day Parade.
Some of the school's Movers & Groovers pupils, aged between three and six, performed on the community stage during the popular parade on Sunday 26 April.
The dance school said the children performed brilliantly in what was a large and potentially daunting setting, with several youngsters taking part in their first ever public performance.
Others were already gaining experience after recently appearing in the group's show at the Royal Academy of Dance.
Babyballet also joined the parade itself, with some of the school's youngest pupils, aged just 18 months, taking part in the procession.
The school said it was proud of all the children for their confidence and enthusiasm throughout the day.
Babyballet Twickenham, Richmond and Kingston are still welcoming new pupils to the class for the spring/summer term.
