A Richmond children's gym has announced it will close its doors to the community after eight years of service.

My Gym Richmond, based on Orchard Road, revealed in a social media post that it has made the "very sad" decision to permanently close on 28 February 2026.

The business wrote: "A big thank you to all our little stars!

"We are very sad to share that My Gym Richmond will close permanently on 28 February 2026.

"Rising costs and the economic climate mean we can no longer operate at the standard your families deserve.

"My Gym has been a place where children laughed, learned, made friends and grew in confidence. We are deeply grateful for the time we have shared with you.

"Please use any remaining credits or pre-paid tuition before our closing date.

"While our children's programme is ending, RINTO Fitness will continue to operate here, supporting the health of teenagers, adults and seniors. You will always be welcome.

"Thank you for your trust and support. It has been an honour to be part of your children's journeys."

RINTO Fitness, which is located next door, is continuing to offer discounted memberships to new members as part of its New Year's deal, which ends tomorrow (31 January).
