Roadworks on Friars Stile Road set to run until start of February

The roadworks currently in place on Friars Stile Road are set to run until February 1, Richmond Council has confirmed.

The road works are situated outside the shops on Richmond Hill and some of the pavement to pedestrians.

A crossing is also not in use.

Richmond Council said: "The closure on Friars Stile Road, Richmond are for multi-way temporary traffic signals at the junction with Onslow Road for UKPN to install a new customer power supply.

"Works commenced 12/01/2024 and are scheduled to run until 31/02/2024."

There was a build-up of traffic this morning due to the multi-way temporary traffic signals which are in place.
