Red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning?

Well, we'll worry about that later. For now, enjoy these photos of sunrise over the borough by keen amateur photographer Ruth Wadey.

"Wishing you all a happy #MondayMorning," she posted on Twitter.

"Initially I thought there would be no beautiful #sunrise this morning but the sky suddenly burst into radiant colour.

"Just like a phone call or text that can transform someone's day."
