The nearest police station for Richmond residents is set to reopen next week.

Twickenham's 24-hour front counter closed in January for refurbishment works.

A temporary station opened in Teddington at the same time. This will close when the Twickenham counter opens again on Tuesday, September 15.

Richmond Police announced the reopening date in a post on its Facebook page which you can read below.

The front counter at Twickenham Police Station will re-open next week.

The 24-hour front counter, which has been closed while refurbishment work was taking place, will re-open at 07:00hrs on Tuesday, September 15.

The temporary front counter, based at Teddington Police Station, will close at the same time.

The refurbishment work was carried out to create a more modern facility which will meet the demands of 21st century policing. It will also reduce the running costs of the estate.

The address of Twickenham Police Station is: 41 London Road, Twickenham, TW1 3SY.
