A Richmond restaurant has celebrated its first birthday with a refreshed menu and a newly styled private dining room.

Mignonette Bistro, on Kew Road, reopened after a short summer break on 5 September, exactly one year since it first welcomed diners in 2024.

To mark the milestone, the team launched a new à la carte dinner menu showcasing rich autumnal flavours and seasonal ingredients.

Highlights include roasted "Arnaud Tauzin" stuffed guinea fowl with truffle, savoy and braised leg parmentier kromeski, a slow-braised caramelised pigs trotter cake in red wine with iberico ham and sauce gribiche, and Orkney scallops with miso, truffle, sake beurre blanc, prawn brochette and caramelised chicory.

The restaurant has also given its private dining room a fresh new look ahead of the festive season, with bookings now open for Christmas parties.

Mignonette was founded by Glen Toromeni and John McClements (credit: Cesar Medina).

Mignonette said: "It's now been well over a year since we got the keys to our cosy neighbourhood bistro on Kew Road.

"After a few months of extensive DIY, we opened our doors on September 5th 2024. Only a few months in, we were listed in the London Michelin Guide, followed by a Bib Gourmand award in February 2025.

"We thoroughly enjoy being Richmond's new neighbourhood bistro, serving lunch menus that change every day with well-sourced sustainable ingredients, seasonal dinner menus – and being 100% independent.

"A huge thank you to everyone who has dined with us in the past year. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit!"
