Richmond Council is calling on local traders and businesses to get involved in its brand-new town centre festival.

Centre Stage, taking place on Saturday, 13 September, will transform George Street and Whittaker Avenue into a 'vibrant celebration of creativity, culture, and community'.

The one-day event will feature a programme of live music, theatre, visual arts, food and drink, and more.

Richmond's independent traders are invited to apply for a stall in one of two distinct zones:

  • Curated Design Market – spotlighting emerging designers and makers across fashion, art, homewares and lifestyle
  • Street Food and Local Produce Market – showcasing a handpicked mix of food vendors, local producers, and artisanal food and drink

To maintain a high-quality experience for visitors, the Council will assess applications based on product range, pricing, and suitability for the festival audience.

Efforts will also be made to avoid overlap with existing Richmond market offerings.

Pitch sizes and fees are outlined in the Trade with Us supporting materials.

To apply, email [email protected] with details about your business, including:

  • Product photos
  • Social media handles or website
  • A brief description of your offer

The deadline for applications is 6pm on Tuesday, 19 August. All submissions will be reviewed, and successful applicants will be contacted directly with a booking form.

Centre Stage is being delivered by Richmond Council in collaboration with HemingwayDesign, Richmond Arts Trust, and a number of local creative and cultural organisations.
