All roads through Richmond Park will be closed on Sunday, September 5, to allow the London Duathlon 2020 to take place.

The sold out competition consists of four separate events the half, full, team, and ultra-Duathlons, which are broken down into running, then cycling and then a final running leg in the style of a triathlon.

The longest event, the ultra, is a 20km run, then a 77km cycle finishing up with a further 10 km run covering some 107 km in total.

The Royal Parks statement about the event says: "The 2020 edition of the London Duathlon will take place on Sunday 5 September 2021. Places into this September's event are now SOLD OUT, but you can register for 2022 today by becoming a LimeLight Sports Club member

"The London Duathlon, the UK's most stunning run-bike-run event, takes place in beautifully scenic Richmond Park.

"To safely facilitate the London Duathlon all Richmond Park roads will be closed to vehicles on Sunday 5 September."
