Richmond Park MP Sarah Olney has urged her constituents to get behind two critical Hammersmith Bridge planning applications so that the replacement ferry service can begin operation as quickly as possible.
In order for the ferry, which has faced several delays, to be put into place, two planning applications must be approved for landing piers on either side of the Thames.
The two applications are with Hammersmith & Fulham Council and Richmond Council.
Sarah Olney MP, also Liberal Democrat spokesperson for transport, said: "As we all know, this ferry service has been plagued by challenges.
"For its start date to be subject to no further delays, we need all consenting authorities to grant their approval.
"The impact that the Bridge's closure has had on the lives of thousands of people has been profound and far-reaching.
"We need access across the River restored ASAP and I would therefore urge as many of my constituents as possible to submit their feedback to the consultations.
"Please, share them with your friends, your family and anyone else who has been affected so that we can get people's lives moving once again."

The plea comes against a backdrop of growing opposition to the LBHF application from local residents, who are against the pier's proposed location.
Olney says: "I understand that some will have their objections to the ferry, but in the context of young children being unable to get to school in a safe and timely manner, and Barnes businesses struggling to remain profitable through a lack of footfall, I'm afraid it is a no brainer.
"I know TfL is working hard with Hammersmith residents to alleviate their concerns.
"I remain hopeful that these discussions will prove fruitful and that the application can be approved at the earliest possible opportunity."
