Planned roadworks taking place across Richmond this week

Emergency works
Burlington Lane, A316 Chiswick (Slip Road to A4 London) will be closed northbound at the junction with Paxton Road for urgent major gas repair works, there will be no access to A4 or Chiswick Lane for any vehicles over 3 tonnes. Hogarth Flyover remains accessible to vehicles under 3 tonnes and 2m in width. Diversion routes for vehicles over 3 tonnes and 2m in width will be in place using Kew Road and Kew Bridge.
Significant disruption and delays will be expected in the area. Works Commenced Sunday 28/09/2025 at 21:00. Current estimated completion date: 9/10/2025.

Bridge Street, Richmond will be closed from Hill Street to Junction with Willoughby Road for carriageway resurfacing works commencing on 20/10/2025 to 22/10/2025. NIGHT WORKS. Contact: FM Conways 01732 600 771.
Castelnau, Barnes multi-way temporary traffic signals junction with Newport Road for Thames Water utility works on 24/10/2025. NIGHT WORKS. Contact: Thames Water 0800 316 9800.
Lonsdale Road, Barnes multi-way temporary traffic signals outside St Pauls School for Cadent Gas utility works commencing on 25/10/2025 to 02/11/2025. Contact: Cadent Gas 08000 159 057.
Manor Road, Richmond two-way temporary traffic signals outside 34 for TfL works on 21/10/2025. NIGHT WORKS. Contact: TfL 0343 222 1234.
Temple Sheen, East Sheen will be closed outside 67 for Cadent Gas utility works commencing on 22/10/2025 to 23/10/2025. Contact: Cadent Gas 08000 159 057.
