PHOTO GALLERY: 10 pics by Jack Fifield on hectic day in Richmond Park

By The Editor 7th Nov 2020

It was a day like no other in Richmond Park with seemingly unprecedented numbers of people flocking to visit.

As we reported, car parks were full and there was gridlock on surrounding roads and motorists queued to get inside our stunning Royal park.

Law student Jack Fifield was in the park with his camera and captured the scenes.

His photographs show traffic at a standstill on Queen's Road which runs between Richmond and Kingston via Pembrook Lodge café.

These images contrast with the car-free stretch of Sawyer's Hill where cyclists rode along and pedestrians walked.
