Thunderstorms are a possibility in Richmond over the next four days.
The Met Office has issued four consecutive warnings running until Monday (August 17) at 9pm.
The forecast says a storm may strike from 5pm today. Rain is highly likely to fall this evening with an 88% chance of precipitation at 7pm.
Saturday morning will see thick clouds and light wind with temperatures of 21-22C. Thundery showers are possible in the afternoon and it looks like there will be heavy rain.
Sunday will reach 24C and a sunny late morning and early afternoon has been predicted. Light rain showers are forecast from 3pm.
Weather warnings
The Met Office said: "Further heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected in places, perhaps leading to flooding or travel disruption.
- Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater or perhaps lightning strikes
- Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services
- There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost."
Washout Wednesday
Giant hail stones rained down on Richmond on Wednesday (August 12) amid torrential rain. Firefighters responded after two large branches snapped off a tree in Twickenham during the storm and landed on a parked car. A man was taken to a major trauma centre after a fall. St Margarets Road was massively flooded and police attended to close Rosslyn Road.Find us on social media
