Mignonette Bistro in Kew, Richmond has announced that it will open its doors to diners this Thursday, 5 September.

This comes after earlier this summer the restaurant revealed that it would replace the former premises of Restaurant 109 on Kew Road near Richmond Station.

Mignonette say it is "thrilled" to share its sample lunch and dinner menus with residents as it opens to reservations and walks in, although recommends bookings due to 'limited tables'.

On its website it already shows unavailability for tables on 5 September after only announcing last Friday (30 August) that it would be opening this week.

Its sample lunch menu costs £16 for two courses, £19 for three and £25 for a three course Sunday Roast.

Sample lunch menu dishes include: King prawns with garlic, crème de parmesan, roast chicken crumb; Grilled miso-glazed quail, wild mushrooms, caramelised salsify and Shallot Tatin, chicory, pear and vegan blue cheese (vegan).

From the sample dinner menu, the restaurants cheapest dish is its Avocado Caesar, fresh peas, grilled little gem lettuce, whipped cashew cheese (vegan) and its Courgette flower, goats cheese, asparagus, basil aioli (vegan), both priced at £7.5.

While its most expensive dishes are the Dry-aged Sirloin steak & short-rib ragu, red wine jus, salsify, pomme aligot for £26 and its 'Butcher's plate' - stuffed pig's trotter, calves sweetbread, ox cheek bordelaise for £27.

The restaurant will be open all day Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm to 10:30pm, but closed on Mondays.

In November, Mignonette will also open its 40 seater private dining room for parties, birthdays, work functions and rugby packages.

Mignonette is a five minutes walk from Richmond station, and located just off the A316 Junction on Kew Road with on-street parking.
