COURT CASE RESULT: Man sentenced after attacking cyclists

A man has been charged with attacking two cyclists in Richmond Park.

Stephen Diaz, 60 of Richmond Road, East Sheen, was charged by postal requisition with two counts of common assault.

He is due to appear at Lavender Hill Magistrates Court on Thursday, October 8.

The charges brought by Parks Police relate to alleged assaults against two cyclists, both men, aged 28 and 35, in the park at 2.15pm on Friday, April 10.

Their injuries were not life-threatening.
