Passengers travelling between Richmond and Stratford are being warned to expect disruption this afternoon (Tuesday, 7 July) following a signalling fault affecting London Overground services.

National Rail says a fault with the signalling system between Richmond and Stratford has blocked some lines, with trains currently subject to delays and alterations.

The disruption is expected to continue until 3:45pm.

Commuters using Richmond station are advised to check their journey before travelling, as services may be delayed or revised at short notice.

National Rail said: "A fault with the signalling system between Richmond and Stratford means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be delayed or revised."

Passengers can check the latest service information using the National Rail real-time journey planner before setting off.

Those delayed by today's disruption may also be entitled to compensation. National Rail advises passengers to keep their ticket and make a note of their journey, as both will be needed to support any claim.
