Get Lucky Local player Barry Hill got a summer surprise with a £250 win in the Richmond community lottery, GET LUCKY LOCAL.

The weekly lottery raises much-needed funds for deserving causes across the Richmond borough community.

Barry, from Richmond, whose chosen charity is the Hampton Hill Theatre told Teddington Nub News: "Whilst very much wishing to help local good causes, it is an excellent idea that whilst doing so one has the chance of winning prizes for oneself at the same time.

"And a part of the money I have won will go to the charities I support as well as the amount they receive from Get Lucky Local."

If you want to support a local project which is close to your heart and also stand a chance of winning a cash prize of up to £25,000, go to www.getluckylocal.co.uk

A total of seventy three good causes are signed up to the community lottery and just 50 tickets sold a week can generated £1300 over one year.
