LK Bennett to close Richmond store after entering administration
By Cesar Medina 18th Feb 2026
A UK women's fashion brand is set to close all of its stores, including its Richmond branch, after entering administration.
Following the appointment of administrators on 27 January 2026, LK Bennett was acquired by investment firm Gordon Brothers.
The deal did not include LK Bennett's bricks-and-mortar stores, although online sales via the company's website will continue for the foreseeable future.
John Noon, Joint Administrator and Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal, said the plan is to keep stores trading temporarily while winding down operations.
Mr Noon said: "We are pleased to have concluded this transaction, which will preserve the LK Bennett brand and its heritage of craftsmanship and quality."
The Hill Road, Richmond branch, along with other sites, is currently holding a clearance sale, offering at least 30 per cent off all products.
In addition, the unit has been put on the market to let by property advisers HRH Retail.
