Kew the Music – Chart-topping bands from Bastille to The Vamps coming to our World Heritage site

Some of the UK's biggest music stars are coming to Kew for a week-long festival next month.

The headliners for the event, which begins on July 11, include Bastille, The Vamps, Jack Savoretti, and the fabulous The Human League,.

While music fans can also look forward to Haçienda Classiçal, plus Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

The renowned annual week-long festival of picnic concerts is set in Kew Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink, or to enjoy the open-air bars and street food stalls.

Bastille headline Kew The Music on July 11 celebrating 10 years of their debut album 'Bad Blood' and will see the band perform the album in full.

Released in 2013, 'Bad Blood' featured Bastille's breakout single 'Pompeii' which reached No.2 in the UK singles charts and No.5 in the US Billboard charts.

Pop-rock band The Vamps, aka Brad Simpson, Connor Ball, Tristan Evans and James McVey, will headline on July 12, having recently celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band.

Since their platinum-selling debut album, 'Meet The Vamps', crashed into the UK charts at No.2 in 2014, the band have been holding onto a dream-like rush of albums, including 'Night & Day', which features the Matoma-assisted global smash 'All Night'.

English-Italian singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti will headline on July 13 , performing songs from his consecutive No.1 albums 'Singing to Strangers', and the summer-soundtracking 'Europiana'.

The Human League, bring their musical and cultural explosion to London as they headline on July 14, performing hits to Kew such as 'Don't You Want Me', 'Love Action (I Believe In Love)', and 'Together In Electric Dreams'.

Haçienda Classical will bring to life the sounds of the legendary Manchester Haçienda Club, with an orchestrated twist on July 15, revisiting the biggest tracks of the era with new arrangements.

The show features a set played as a continuous live DJ mix, where vocalists, choir, orchestra and guests all combine to create a vibrant, exciting performance.

Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra perform on July 16, featuring Jools' long-time drummer with Squeeze & others, Gilson Lavis, and starring special guests Pauline Black and Arthur 'Gaps' from The Selecter.

The show will also feature guest vocalists Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall, and Sumudu Jayatilaka.
