Residents are being offered a one stop shop for Covid and flu jabs, a blood pressure check and even advice on energy bills.

The pop-up winter health and wellbeing clinic will be available Monday - October 17 - at York House, Twickenham, from 10.30am to 4pm.

Cold weather can make some health problems worse and even lead to serious complications, especially if you are 65 or older, or if you have a long-term health condition.

The following services will be available - please note that pharmacists administering flu jabs will only be present from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

* COVID 19 jab

* Flu jab

* Blood pressure checks

* Advice on preventing and reducing your risk of diabetes, cancer, and heart disease

* Signposting to mental health support

* Tips to stay healthy and active and information about local activities that can help

* Smoking cessation advice

* Fuel poverty advice

Anyone aged 12+ who is due their first, second, or booster vaccinations will be able to have their COVID-19 jab.

The seasonal (autumn) booster is only available for those aged 50+ or those considered clinically vulnerable.

No appointments are required, and people can just walk in.

If you have recently tested positive for COVID-19, you need to wait before getting any dose of the vaccine and the number of weeks depends on how old you are. Find out more about who is eligible via the NHS website.

Cllr Piers Allen, Lead member for Adult Social Care and Health and Chair of the Richmond Health and Wellbeing Board, said: "We are excited about the opportunity to work with local health partners to expand the services typically offered in our pop-up clinics.

"Not only raising awareness of the range of available services, but making these services easily accessible to our residents, is particularly crucial as we enter the cold weather season.

"I encourage residents to come along and take advantage of what's on offer, to look after both themselves and their loved ones this autumn."
