The Christmas lights in Richmond were turned on last week and the high street and riverside are looking very festive!

There was a Christmas market along the riverside last weekend and a children's Winter Wonderland on Whittaker Avenue.

The market had lots of stalls selling handmade gifts.

The Winter Wonderland at Whittaker Avenue had Christmas crafts for children and families to take part in.

Christmas lights were switched on by the Mayor and cast members of the Richmond Theatre pantomime, Dick Whittington.

Richmond train station is also lit up for Christmas with a beautiful Christmas light statue of a deer - very apt for Richmond.
