A helicopter had to make an emergency landing in Richmond Park earlier this week due to the bad weather.

Royal Parks Police said the chopper touched down in the park on Tuesday 29 October due to the weather conditions.

Officers said the pilot had to wait for a break in the weather before he was able to leave.

The incident sparked tongue-in-cheek comments on social media saying 'You can't park there mate'.
