Fog alert! Richmond facing a misty start to Monday morning

A weather warning for fog in Richmond has been issued by the Met Office.

It runs between 4am and 11am on Monday, December 7.

The warning reads: "Fog is expected to persist and with increased traffic volumes on Monday morning some disruption to transport is possible."

Residents have been told to expect:

  • slower journey times with delays to bus and train services possible
  • there is a chance of delays or cancellations to flights

Once the fog has lifted, Monday looks set to be another chilly day.

The forecast is for light cloud and light winds and temperatures rising to a high of 3C by 1pm.
