Drug dealer's failed attempt at money "laundering"

A drug dealer has been arrested after a large amount of cash and cannabis were found hidden in a tumble dryer at an address in Barnes.
Richmond Police said: "Last week, officers on proactive patrol saw a moped speeding away from them. Giving chase, they found the owner with response team closing down his escape routes. The rider was detained within an address in Barnes.
"A search and questions followed and hidden in the tumble drier of all places was approx. £4,400 in cash and a large amount of herbal cannabis.
"An arrest quickly followed."
