Passengers travelling on the London Overground Mildmay line are facing disruption until the end of the day today (Wednesday, 24 December) due to a shortage of train drivers.
The issue was reported at around 3:23am, with operators confirming that fewer trains are able to run on the route.
Services between Richmond, Clapham Junction and Stratford may be cancelled, amended or terminated early throughout the day.
A significant number of morning, afternoon and evening services have already been cancelled or revised, with some trains starting or ending at Camden Road, Kensal Rise or Willesden Junction instead of running the full route.
Among the affected services are early morning trains from Clapham Junction to Stratford, as well as multiple peak-time departures in both directions. Several Richmond–Stratford services are also being cut short.
Passengers are being advised to check before they travel, as further changes may occur at short notice.
Those affected can use the National Rail Enquiries real-time journey planner to check the status of their journey and find alternative routes.
London Overground has also reminded passengers that they may be entitled to compensation if their journey is delayed.
