South Western Railway (SWR) has lifted its 'do not travel' message following the passing of Storm Franklin.
However, the company says its services across south west London and in to Waterloo are still experiencing short-notice delays.
The company said: "With the worst of Storm Franklin now through the region, Network Rail has removed the 50mph speed restriction that was in place to protect the safety of our colleagues and customers.
"This couple with our colleagues; hard work in clearing obstructions, means we have greater confidence of operating services from 4pm on Monday."
It added: "While we are no longer advising customers not to travel, we are still experiencing short-term delays, alterations and cancellations across our services as well as the risk of further disruption from falling trees.
"We consider to ask customers to consider whether their journey is necessary and make alternative plans if they can."
The company said it is hoping to operate a near normal service from Tuesday.
