The date has now been confirmed for the reopening of Richmond McDonalds.

McDonalds, which is located at The Quadrant in Richmond, will reopen on 7 December, according to a McDonalds spokesperson.

A Mcdonald's spokesperson had previously told Richmond Nub News that the fast food restaurant would be reopening in 'early December'.

The restaurant has been closed since a fire on Saturday 1 July 2023.

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters flocked to the scene at the Quadrant on Saturday (July 1) at around 1.45pm.

At the time a statement from London Fire Brigade said: "Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire on The Quadrant in Richmond on Saturday (July 1).

"Part of the loft space at a fast-food restaurant was damaged by fire.

"The building was evacuated before firefighters arrived and there were no reports of any injuries.

"The fire is being treated as accidental and most likely caused by hot works taking place in the area affected in the days leading up to the incident."

At the time a McDonald's spokesperson said that the restaurant would remain closed until further notice.
