A license application has been submitted to Richmond Council for a restaurant's new premises license on Hill Street.

The building is the former home of the bed showroom 'And So To Bed'.

While the council's website says a business name is yet to be confirmed, a notice in the unit's window says "Notice is hereby given that Ottolenghi Limited has applied to Richmond Council on 05/12/2023 for a new premises licence for 36-38 Hill St."

If approved the licence would allow the business to serve alcohol for consumption on and off the premises at the following times:

Sunday to Thursday 10:00 to 23:30

Friday to Saturday 10:00 to 00:00

The license would also allow plays, films, indoor sporting events, live music, recorded music, and performance of dance at the following times:

Sunday to Thursday 10:00 to 23:30

Friday to Saturday 10:00 to 00:00

The time for locals to submit their thoughts has now passed.

Find the full application here.
