Keen photographer? We are still on the hunt for local photographers for a gallery of Richmond's birds on Nub News.

Richmond Park is home to many magnificent species of birds, from skylarks to red kites to ring-necked parakeets. We would love to see your photographs of them.

Send your photos, with a brief explanation or story about the image (where it was taken, what the bird is, how you got your shot), to [email protected] to be featured in our Richmond Park bird gallery!

As part of its #KeepWildlifeWild campaign the Royal Parks is encouraging people to get out and get bird spotting as a way to connect with nature without disturbing the parks' wildlife.

It has created new bird spotter sheets to help visitors identify certain birds while walking round the parks.

The most common birds to spot in Richmond Park are:

- Skylarks

- Red kites

- Kingfishers

- Ring-necked parakeets

- Green woodpeckers

- Sand martins

- Great crested grebes

- Stonechats
