London Overground services between South Acton and Richmond have been suspended this afternoon (Monday, 22 September) after a fire was reported at Richmond station.

National Rail confirmed the incident at 3:43pm, with all trains between Stratford and Richmond affected.

Services are not expected to resume until around 5pm.

National Rail said: "A fire at Richmond station means the line is closed. Trains running between South Acton and Richmond will be suspended. Disruption is expected until 17:00."

Passengers are being urged to check before they travel and allow extra time for their journeys.
