10 photos from a sunny afternoon outdoors at Kew Gardens

Local News by The Editor 30th Jan 2021

On a wet weekend like this, let's take a look at one of Richmond's biggest draws on a brighter day.

These photos from a fortnight ago show Kew Gardens bathing in the winter's sun.

The gardens remain open in lockdown with indoor buildings such as Temperate House and the Great Pagoda closed.

This forces visitors to spend their full trip to the botanical gardens in the fresh air and appreciate the beautiful surroundings they are in.

Another positive about the situation is Kew Gardens has temporarily cut entry prices.

It now costs £10 for an adult to visit, down from £13.50.
