Residents will be able to walk in for a jab without an appointment in Kew tomorrow.

The clinic will be at Queen's C of E Primary School in Kew (Cumberland Road, Kew, TW9 3HJ) from 10am to 6pm on Saturday 24 July.

Both Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines will be available.

Second doses will only be given to those who received their first dose eight weeks' ago or more (no later than 29 May).

The centre is the latest in a series of clinics targeted to areas with lower take-up of the vaccine. Last weekend 500 Richmond residents were jabbed at a walk-in vaccine centre at Richmond Adult Community College.

The Kew venue has been set up following data showing that around 42% of residents aged 18 to 39 in the area have not yet had their first jab.

Richmond GP, Dr Patrick Gibson said: "The NHS and Richmond Council have worked together closely to organise this local walk-in clinic for Richmond residents to make getting the vaccination as convenient and easy as possible.

"If you're planning to be in Kew on Saturday, or live near-by, and haven't yet had your vaccine, please come along and see us."
