A Covid-19 vaccine will save lives and you could help us deliver it.
That's the message from NHS South West London which is recruiting local people to the vaccination programme - and medical experience is not essential.
The trust has vacancies in eight positions:
- Healthcare Assistant (Covid Vaccination Programme) - Bank
- Registered Healthcare Professional - Clinical Supervisor – Immunisations - Bank
- Seasonal Flu and Pandemic Immuniser - Bank
- Vaccine Admin Support (Covid Vaccination Programme) - Bank
- Registered Health Care Professional – Immunisations - Bank
- Registered Healthcare Professional - Volunteer
- Vaccine Admin Support - Voluntary
- Steward, Ushering and Patient Flow
All eight positions are described as an "integral" part of the effort to deliver covid vaccinations to the South West London population via a number of vaccination hubs.
Richmond residents aged 18 and over can also register their interest in the national programme.
There are thousands of roles available as
Covid-19 Vaccination Programme Vaccinator. The job will last 3-6 months and pays £10.09-£11.19 an hour.
Previous medical experience is not needed but people with clinical, care or first aid experience are being prioritised in the first wave of applications.
All vaccinators will receive training and their role will primarily be administering the jab into a person's shoulder muscle.
There are positions available in two related roles in immunisation: for a registered health care professional and clinical supervisors, paying at least £12.74 and £16.04 an hour respectively.
Recruitment is being led by NHS Professionals, a government wing that supplies temporary workers for the National Health Service.
