Charity shop in Richmond town centre reopens this week

Richmond's Princess Alice Hospice charity shop reopens this week.
The shop in Hill Street is reopening on Thursday, July 30.
The news will be welcomed to hospice supporters, bargain hunters and anyone wishing to have a post-lockdown clearout.
Many charity shops in the Richmond area have already had to stop accepting donations because they're received so many!
The Princess Alice Hospice charity runs one of the largest local hospices, providing end-of-life care, in nearby Esher.
It has a number of charity shops in Surrey and South West London.
In an update on its website, the charity said: "Thank you for your patience while our shops have been closed.
"The good news is that we are re-opening our shops on a phased basis, to ensure minimal risk to our staff, volunteers, supporters and customes.
"We will be taking some additional precautions to minimise risk and ask our customers and supporters to note:
- Please be patient and respectful of our staff and other customers
- Do not enter our shops or leave donations if you have Coronavirus symptoms
- Donations will be accepted between 9.30am and 11am
- Donations will be quarantined for 72 hours before processing
- Please ensure you maintain the 2m social distance guidelines
- Please pay by card/contactless
- Fitting rooms will not be in use
- This shop will close an hour early to allow for cleaning.
