This role focuses on minor repairs and breakdown response across the London area. Key Responsibilities of a Lift Engineer:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in lifts.
• Attend breakdowns promptly, minimising downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all sites.
• Support the training of apprentices and trainee engineers, using your experience to mentor the next generation.

Requirements of a Lift Engineer:

• Industry-relevant qualification - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - Essential
• Full, clean driving licence - Preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience as a Lift Engineer, with familiarity working in the London area - Essential

• Confidence in managing your own repair route, troubleshooting, and completing various types of minor repairs on both passenger and goods lifts of all types of manufacturers - Essential
• Currently living a commutable distance from London or willing to relocate to satisfy the geography of this specialist role - Essential
