A leading research and development organisation has started the year by investing heavily in its R&D team based in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey. It is currently looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join its Engineering team in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey.

The company designs electronic sensor-based instrumentation used in harsh environments, and the Electronics Design Engineer will have the opportunity to contribute at all stages to new and enhanced products.

Key responsibilities of the Electronics Design Engineer job in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey:

  • Design, develop and test of analogue and digital electronic circuits
  • Support product design, integration, validation and handover to production
  • Use knowledge and experience of integrated circuit interfacing and digital communication systems, and processor interfacing

  • Strong knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design and PCB design
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
  • Experience using design, simulation and verification tools for FPGA-HDL design
  • Experience in analogue circuit design for data acquisition and processing
  • Python scripting
  • Awareness of research and development methodologies for high-technology products
