We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming co-educational primary academy in Twickenham, supporting children aged 4-11. The school promotes an inclusive and ambitious ethos, encouraging pupils to be curious, confident, and resilient. With a broad, well-sequenced curriculum covering core subjects alongside art, music, languages, and computing, the academy ensures strong academic progress and personal development.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis.

• Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to implement personalised learning plans.

• Support the delivery of engaging lessons across the curriculum.

• Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and resilience.

• Contribute to creating an inclusive classroom environment.

• Promote positive behaviour and provide emotional support when needed.

To be successful as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the Update Service.

• The right to work in the UK.

• Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a school is desirable.

• A proactive, patient, and caring approach to working with children.
