Ever wondered what opera would sound like in a context that didn't involve copious amounts of red velvet and chandeliers? Sofia Kirwan-Baez, alongside special guests, will be interpreting and introducing some of her favourite arias in an informal style, From tragedy to comedy, it promises to be an exciting, emotion-filled journey through a variety of countries and musical eras.

Entrance to the site will be one hour prior to the start of the performance of the event. With the exception of the VIP pre-booked tables, you will need to supply your own picnic rug or chairs: spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
There will be a BBQ and Bar on-site which will open one hour before the start of the performance and throughout the event. All alcohol on-site must be purchased at the Bar; you will not be permitted to bring your own.
Accessibility: if you require additional support to attend this event, please email [email protected] so we can fast-track you onto the site and provide you with a table and chair if required.
Unfortunately, due to the temptation of picnic food, dogs will not be admitted.
All events will go ahead, whatever the weather, with the exception of Met Office weather warnings. If this is the case you will have the option to request a refund or - as this is a fund-raising event for the OSO and the BCA - consider donating the ticket price to cover the cost of running the event.
