KATE HOWE: OPEN STUDIOS

Kate Howe's long-awaited open studio event at RuptureXIBIT (+Studio) previews emerging paintings driven by Howe's important and timely PhD research.

Open Studios: 5th June - 9th June, 11am - 6pm daily.

Private View: Saturday 8th June, 6pm - 9pm.

From 5th - 9th June experience Kate Howe's emerging body of work at RuptureXIBIT (+Studio's) long-awaited Open Studio event. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to look inside the artist's practice and explore the studio in its entirety during a pause in the generative process. Join us in conversation with Howe at the Private View of this event on Saturday 8th June as they take us on an intimate tour of their practice, followed by live music throughout the evening and a chance to speak with the artist themselves.

Howe will be previewing the work which formed their Ph.D Research proposal: "Collecting Rape: Collation, Curation and Response to every item in the Victoria and Albert Museum and Archives that takes Rape as its subject," which they are undertaking at Leeds University.
