Be Richmond Christmas Lights Switch On

On Thursday 27 November, experience the magic of Richmond at the Christmas Light Switch On. Enjoy live entertainment, festive cheer, and celebrate the town centre lighting up for Christmas shopping, eating, and drinking.

From 4pm, George Street will be open to the public for the start of the Be Festive celebrations.

From 5pm, the Riverside Radio stage will host a variety of performances from Be Richmond's talented festive entertainers, including the much-loved Wickedly Witches, Basil Brush and a range of exciting acts guaranteed to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

The crowds will be entertained with even more Be Richmond guests – The Green and Pink Witches, The Grinch and Cindy Lou, Candy Cane Stilt Walkers and giant Nutcracker characters. Creating the perfect opportunity for families to capture memorable festive photos.

The magical moment will take place at 5:45pm when the Mayor of Richmond takes to the stage for the official light switch on, illuminating the town centre in dazzling festive lights.

Join the celebration and experience the joy of Christmas in Richmond. We can't wait to see you there!

Plus, don't miss our upcoming 12 Days of Christmas competition, starting 1 December, with 12 incredible prizes up for grabs from a selection of Be Richmond member businesses.
