London Scottish can give their hopes of progression to the next round of the Championship Cup a big boost with a win against Bedford Blues.

Scottish have struggled greatly in the league with just one win all season, but the cup has been more kind and a win this weekend would likely see them in the box seat for progression to the next phase.

Bedford are fourth in the Championship table, but found the sledding far tougher in December as they won just one of their three pools matches.

Kick-off at Goldington Road is at 7:45pm on Friday.

Ealing Trailfinders will be hoping for a welcome distraction in the Championship Cup after a tough run of form, as they face title rivals Jersey Reds.

A tricky start to 2023 has seen Ealing lose two of their first four matches of the new year as their strong start to the season has started to wobble.

Their opponents are now just one point behind them and are unbeaten in 2023, with two wins and a draw so far, and have lost just once all season.

Kick-off at the Stade Santander International is at 2pm on Saturday.

Teddington RFC can make it 15 wins in a row this weekend if they get the better of Purley John Fisher in Counties Two Surrey.

A walkover win made it 14 wins for the season for Teddington last weekend, but the reverse fixture against Purley John Fisher proved tricky earlier in the season, eking out a 13-10 victory.

Purley John Fisher are fourth in the table, but they have only won one of their last three matches.

Kick-off at Bushy Park is at 2:30pm on Saturday.

Elsewhere in the area, Twickenham RFC are at home against Trinity and Kingston RFC are away against Old Tiffinians.
