Hampton and Richmond surrendered a half-time lead as they crashed out of the Middlesex Senior Challenge Cup 3-1 against Hayes and Yeading United.

A youthful looking Beavers side held the lead at the break after Connor Kurran-Browne finished well inside ten minutes.

Reece Cole levelled the scores quickly after half-time, before Danny Green and Adam Liddle both scored late doors to wrap up the victory.

Defeat ends Hampton's hopes of success in the cups this season as they exit the last cup competition they were entered in.

It took just nine minutes for Kurran-Browne to open the scoring as he made a well-timed run for Sam Deadfield to slide him in behind the Hayes back line, and the number 14 slammed it against the inside of the post and in.

Salamon was called into action after 15 minutes as Cole looked to test him from way down town, but the man on loan from QPR was equal to it.

Hayes again troubled from range on 35 minutes, this time Amos Nasha was the one who found space just outside the box and looked to shoot, but Salamon made the save look simple.

Just two minutes into the second half there were huge shouts for a Beavers penalty as Stefan Ilic was clattered into from behind, but the referee waved away the appeals.

Three minutes later United were level as Cole once again had a go from outside the box and a wicked deflection wrong footed Salamon and took the ball into the back of the net.

Ilic broke free and danced past several defenders before looking to pick out Charlie George, but his ball into him was a little bit too far ahead of him.

A Hampton corner found Tommy Wood, he was able to take the ball down and lift the ball back into the middle where George got on the end of it, but his header went narrowly over the top.

Kurran-Browne was played in behind and as he bore down on goal and as he was about to shoot, a defender managed to get back to make a goal saving tackle.

After 74 minutes Stan Flaherty managed to get in down the right of the Hampton defence and he squared the ball across goal to Green and he turned the ball home to give Hayes the lead.

Cole's sharp shooting from range continued with nine minutes remaining as he lined up a free-kick a few yards outside the area and he forced Salamon to get across his goal quickly to tip it over the bar.

With one minute remaining Liddle found himself unmarked in the area and as the ball came into him, he slotted home to confirm the win for Hayes and Yeading.
