A rampant Hampton and Richmond Borough scored six as they cruised into the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round 6-1 at home against Paulton Rovers.

Stefan Ilic and Temi Babalola both found the back of the net in the first half, before Paulton pulled one back in stoppage time.

The Beavers then ran riot in the second half as Babalola added his second before Tommy Wood, Ade Shokunbi, and Tommy Block all got on the scoresheet.

This comfortable win takes Hampton one win away from the First-Round proper and they will find out their opponents at 3pm today.

Babalola could have opened the scoring after eight minutes when Ilic received the ball on the right wing and scampered inside his marker and threaded a pass through for Babalola and he went wide around the goalkeeper, but could only pull it back into the side netting.

Ilic then had a pair of presentable chances himself to get the first goal, first when he cut onto his right foot on the edge of the box and then when he got on the end of a Ruaridh Donaldson cross, but both times he sent it straight at the keeper.

Eventually the 23-year-old did find the net as a mix-up in the Paulton backline allowed Babalola to roll the ball across goal for Ilic to tuck home with a first-time finish on the half hour mark.

There was a touch of the spectacular about the second as Wood knocked down a cross for Babalola who reacted instinctively to slam it passed the 'keeper with a bicycle kick.

In first half stoppage time, without having threatened too much, Paulton had a way back in as Mateo Salamon clattered into Kyle Tooze to give away a penalty that the striker tucked home from the spot to make a game of the second half.

That hope lasted all of three minutes when Babalola shrugged off a defender and fired into the near post and restored the two-goal advantage.

Next time it was Wood's turn to find the net as the number nine darted in behind after Marcus Sablier set him away and he rounded Aaron Sainsbury and tapped into an empty net.

Ade Shokunbi came off the bench and made his mark, picking the ball up midway inside the Paulton half and driving to the edge of the box where he slammed the ball into the far corner as Hampton really started to pull away.

In the 90th minute Jack Gray was chopped down in the box, allowing Block to step up and coolly score his third penalty of the season.
