The sale prices of family homes across Richmond borough are rising faster than the rest of London and England as a whole.

The average figure for terraced houses was up by 14.8per cent in January compared to the same month last year, taking it up by more than £100,00 to £900,096

At the same time, the average sale price of a detached property leapt by 15.4per cent in the past year with the cash figure up by over £220,000 to £1,683,719.

Agents Sceon + Berne are currently marketing what they describe as a spacious and charming semi-detached family home for £1.6m.

Situated on a highly sought Parkside road in East Sheen, SW14, this light, bright and airy home features a superb kitchen extension, full loft conversion and is located on the favoured west side of the road.

The ground floor has been remodelled featuring a large open plan kitchen/breakfast room with central island, 'hidden' utility room, custom made storage and cloakroom.

The house also benefits from a fantastic loft conversion, period features, high ceilings, wood flooring, underfloor heating and new bathrooms.

Externally, there is a lovely west-facing private garden with patio, artificial grass lawn and secure side access with shed storage through to the walled front garden.

Gilpin Avenue is a sought Parkside road near the Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' East Sheen Primary School and Palewell Common. Local shops, Mortlake Station and Richmond Park are all nearby.
