Quins ran in an impressing 13 tries at The Stoop as they raced to an impressive victory of DMP Sharks in their final home game of the season.

Babalwa Latsha kicked off the scoring on three minutes, the Springbok Women's star powered over for her third try in three games to see Quins take a 7-0 lead after three minutes.

Abby Dow followed up with a try of her own in the corner on six minutes, Beth Blacklock broke the line and the ball was spread wide to Dow who dotted down for her first of the afternoon.

Ten minutes later the impressive Katy Mew scored Quins' third try from close range, Lucy Packer fired a short ball to Mew who muscled her way through the defence to score under the posts. Lagi Tuima converted to make the score 19-0 on 17 minutes.

An injury to Mew stopped the game as the Quins back row received treatment and was stretchered from the field.

The game restarted and Quins continued to put pressure on the DMP defence, scoring a further two tries through Dow and Ellie Kildunne to extend their lead to 31-0 as the game entered the final ten minutes of the first half.

DMP fought back with a try of their own, but Lauren Torley would have the final say of the half, crossing over out wide to give Quins a healthy 36-5 lead at the break.

The first score of the second half came from Quins replacement hooker Davinia Catlin, making her final appearance at home before retiring at the end of this season.

Catlin carried hard through the middle and dotted down under the posts. Lagi Tuima converted and the score stood at 43-5 with half an hour to go.

Three further tries from Hannah Sims, Beth Wilcock and Lauren Torley extended the hosts' lead to 62-5.

Wilcock's was the pick of the bunch, the ball was spread wide and Izzy Mayhew put her foot down to go around the DMP defence. She was tackled but offloaded to Wilcock who ran in under the posts to score.

On 69 minutes Quins took a quick tap penalty five meters from the DMP line and Davinia Catlin muscled over for her second of the afternoon to make the score 69-5 as the game entered the final ten minutes.

DMP scored their second just two minutes later, but two further tries from Kildunne would complete her hat trick and seal a huge home win for Quins, 82-10 at the final whistle.

Quins travel to Sixways for their final game of the season next Saturday afternoon.
