Hampton & Richmond Borough FC has announced the club's new owners following months of extensive negotiations.

Brothers Rafa and Stefano Petruzzo will become the new Beavers owners via their investment company Ramayana Ventures Limited, with many fans already familiar with the duo due to their support of the club over the last 15 months including brining on board new shirt sponsors Uncommon and Amphitrite Underwriting.

The Petruzzos have an extensive background in corporate transformation and growth with executive roles across banking, retail, fashion, sports, and technology.

Stefano spent 6 years as Strategy Director for Liverpool FC, contributing to them becoming one of the most successful clubs in the Premier League, prior to then utilising his skills and experience to help grassroots sports organisations across the world.

Rafa worked at the apex of banking, retail and sports with a focus on digital, technology, and operations transformation aimed at attracting and engaging with new audiences.

One of the immediate priorities will be the development of recurring and sustainable business models to ensure the club has a sound financial base to build from.

A priority initiative will be to enhance club operations and their matchday offering, providing fans with an even more enjoyable experience as they come together to support the team.

Chairman Jacques Le Bars will continue in his role, working alongside the Petruzzo Brothers who will assume the role of Executive Directors.

Stefano and Rafa commented: "We are very excited about the future and very appreciative of how the local community has welcomed us into the club.

"Special thanks and consideration goes to our Chairman Jacques who has done a great job in managing the club and we look forward to his continued involvement and working alongside him to take the Club to new horizons.

"We'd also like to highlight the positive working relationship we've developed with Phil Weller and the Supporters' Trust over the past few months; many dedicated supporters volunteer their time for the good of the Club and we look forward to deepening our understanding of how the Club can be a force for good in the local community going forward."
